    Police in Jacksonville, Florida arrested two local health inspectors following allegations they coerced restaurant managers to bribe them, so they'd look the other way when they found critical violations.

    TAMPA, Fla. - In a special Dirty Dining I-Team Investigation, we looked through dozens of food safety inspection reports from counties all over Central Florida. Hillsborough County, the largest school district in the area had more unsatisfactory health inspections than any other district with 17 schools failing at least one food inspection report.

    Some restaurants around the country will be closed in the weeks ahead following a spot inspection by the Ministry of Health's Food Safety Unit enforcers last week. Senior health officer and unit head Samuela Bolalailai said "a lot" of restaurants in Suva should have been shut down already for failing to adhere to the guidelines provided in the Food Safety Act 2003.

    A new New York pizzeria, Don Antonio, has already been shuttered by the Dept. of Health. Eater reports a tipster spotted the yellow sign on the door yesterday, and when an Eater operative went by to snap a pic of the exterior, the management freaked out and said they'd call the cops.

    A Las Vegas local restaurant owner is angry with the Southern Nevada Health District. And he's speaking out after his restaurant was shut down. "You have no reason to go shut it down, Gabriel Adefris told KTNV. "And you think this list is basically nothing?" asks Darcy. "Nothing. For me nothing, yes," says Gabriel.

    Las Vegas, NV -- A lack of hot water recently led to the closure of a Salvadorian and Mexican restaurant on East Charleston Boulevard. According to the Southern Nevada Health District, none of three sinks in the restaurant provided sufficient hot water.
