    The Kinikin Corner Dairy in Montrose is back in business, three weeks after the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment closed it. “Ninety-nine percent of our customers have stayed with us, and most of them have been absolutely 100 percent supportive,” Kinikin owner Scott Freeman said.

    Some of the biggest lines for today’s weekly farmers’ market in downtown Gainesville will form outside the trailer of Kurtz and Sons Dairy for two prized foods - raw milk and grass-fed beef.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A proposal that supports owners' use of raw milk for personal consumption in Tennessee is headed to the governor for his consideration. The measure sponsored by Republican Sen. Mike Faulk of Church Hill was unanimously approved Monday evening. The companion bill passed the House last week.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A proposal that would authorize the selling of raw milk has passed the House. The measure sponsored by Rep. Frank Niceley, a Strawberry Plains Republican, was unanimously approved on Thursday.

    A tour of Coon Rock Farm in Hillsborough is essentially a preview of Eno, a farm-to-table, work-share restaurant scheduled to open in Durham this summer. The rows of Asian microgreens and baby lambs frolicking in the pastures will be on its tables in a few months -- and the felled trees will be the tables.
