Alfa Sprouts Inc., Honeoye Falls, N.Y., voluntarily recalled a total of 100 pounds of its Springwater Sprouts brand organic alfalfa sprouts and bulk clover sprouts because of possible listeria contamination.

Alfa Sprouts Inc. of Honeoye Falls, NY is recalling approx. 100 lbs of Springwater Sprouts brand Organic Alfalfa Sprouts and bulk 3# Clover Sprouts because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections to individuals with weakened immune systems.

Nova Scotia’s Department of Agriculture and Meadowbrook Meat Market of Berwick are warning the public not to consume certain fully cooked boneless hams from Meadowbrook Meat Market because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The products affected are fully cooked boneless hams with best before dates of April 1 and April 3.
