Almost 120 people have sought help, suffering from gastroenteritis after eating takeaway food from a bakery at Bankstown. Twenty-two of those have been admitted to hospital for treatment.

The L.A. Times reports that federal officials arrested two Japanese men for allegedly smuggling 55 live turtles into LAX in snack food boxes. Germany's dioxin in feed scandal has spread beyond its borders again with reports that contaminated feed has been exported and fed to poultry in neighbouring Denmark since late last year. As well as these revelations, tests on meat from chickens, turkeys and pigs fed the contaminated feed found dioxin levels were twice the legal limit, EU officials told The Telegraph.
