Supermarket chain ICA is withdrawing some of its hot dogs, since listeria bacteria has been found in the products.
The hot dogs concerned are ICA's 630 and 900 gram packages with the best-before dates September 14 and 16, and Euroshopper's 900 gram packages with the best-before date September 16.
Listeria normally dies if the food is heated to 70 degrees Celsius. But it can be a serious health risk for people with impaired immune systems, like the elderly and pregnant women.
Hot dogs from the brand Lithells are also withdrawn after listeria findings in six batches with the best-before dates September 17 and 19.
