Two men who claiming they ate salmonella contaminated food at a River Grove hot dog stand filed a lawsuit against the eatery Monday.
Michal Dzik and Daniel Kwiatowski claim they were served what they claim was salmonella contaminated food about 11 a.m. Oct. 24, 2008, at the Gene's and Jude's Hotdogs at 2720 N. River Rd. in River Grove, according to a suit filed in Cook County Circuit Court.
The lawsuit claims, among other things, the eatery didn't require employees to wash their hands and cooking equipment with warm water and soap and didn't cook its food at a proper temperature.
