UK: Batches of Wester Lawrenceton Farm cheeses recalled

Wester Lawrenceton Farm Ltd has recalled various batches of Carolla and Caerphilly cheese due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria is a bacterium that causes food poisoning. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
Products recalled
The cheeses are only distributed in Scotland.

Caerphilly Cheese
Batch code: 01 02
Wester Lawrenceton Farm Ltd has undertaken a product recall and will be displaying point-of-sale notices in all stores supplied with the implicated product. These notices will alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the affected products. No other Wester Lawrenceton Farm Ltd products are known to be affected.
