Editor’s note: The Courier each week runs a summary of reports on area restaurant inspections by the Montgomery County Health Department Environmental Health Services. The department routinely performs food establishment inspections twice per year, or more often if the inspection report was bad resulting in numerous demerits or a complaint was filed. Below are all establishments that received no demerits, plus establishments each week that received the most demerits.

Shipley’s – Texas 105 West at Eva St., Montgomery – 3 demerits – demerits were given for inadequate handwashing facilities.
Chuy’s – 18035 I-45 S., Conroe – 3 demerits – demerits were given for inadequate handwashing facilities
Napoli’s Italian Grill – 18535 FM 1488, Magnolia – 4 demerits – demerits were given for cross-contamination of raw products.
Sam’s Boat – 26710 I-45 N., The Woodlands – 8 demerits – four demerits were given for inadequate handwashing facilities; four demerits were given for unhygenic practices.
Lil Fatz’s Pizzeria – 13841 U.S. 59, Splendora – 10 demerits – four demerits were given for unhygenic practices; three demerits were given for inadequate handwashing facilities; three demerits were given for failure to post consumer advisories.
El Bosque Mexican Restaurant – 28777 I-45 N., The Woodlands – 11 demerits – four demerits were given for unsound condition of products; four demerits were given for cross-contamination of products; three demerits were given for inadequate handwashing facilities.
